What is gastric balloon method?
This weight loss method consists of placing a balloon filled sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride in the stomach to suppress appetite and significantly reduce food intake. This method, also called endoscopic intragastric balloon, is frequently used today to prevent obesity.
