This is because a tooth can suffer such extensive damage that the nerve and canals of the tooth are affected. In such a case, the tooth may be sore and infected. The therapy offered for this condition is a process called root canal treatment.
Root canal treatment involves removing infected or damaged tissue from the root of the affected tooth, cleaning the canals in the tooth root, flushing out the bacteria present by rinsing, disinfecting the walls of the canals with chemical components, and fill the canals with dental fillers. In some cases, this procedure is the last resort to preserve a tooth that has suffered severe damage or an infected tooth.
DURATION OF TREATMENT: If there are no other complications, the treatment is carried out in a single session which lasts between 45 and 120 minutes.
