TREATMENTS
What is simple tooth extraction?
To extract a tooth, the dentist uses local anesthesia to numb the nerve of the tooth to be extracted so that the extraction is not painful. Immediately after the extraction, the dentist places a chewing gauze pad to limit bleeding. This technique helps in the formation of good healing.

FOLLOW UP VISIT
After tooth extraction, avoid drinking alcohol for at least 24 hours as this promotes bleeding and delays healing. Eat lukewarm food and drink water at normal temperature as usual, but avoid chewing on the affected area. It is also important, if not essential, to take care of your oral hygiene after an extraction. However, you must be careful when cleaning near the extraction site.
Finally, it is important not to do anything that could increase your blood pressure as this promotes bleeding. We recommend that you refrain from smoking for as long as possible and at least for the rest of the day that the extraction takes place.
TREATMENT DURATION: Extraction lasts between 20 and 40 minutes.
